Some collaborations begin with a clear creative brief. Others begin with a trip, a conversation, and the right people seeing the possibility in a story.
Our styled shoot at Grand Ferdinand Vienna came together after we knew we would be travelling to the city for our mini-moon. Having just legally married, Vienna already felt like a meaningful destination for us — a place to pause, celebrate and step into the next chapter of our lives together. But we also knew the city had the potential to become part of The Seths’ creative archive in a more intentional way.
Before travelling, we reached out to Schwanzer Andreas Photography, whose previous same-sex work had caught our attention. Andreas was immediately enthusiastic about creating something together and brought a brilliant creative team on board, including his husband, hair and makeup artist Mario Kren, and second shooter Laura Mazurek.
From there, the collaboration grew naturally. Andreas spoke with Grand Ferdinand Vienna, the hotel we were already booked to stay at for our mini-moon, and they were instantly interested in collaborating. The idea developed into a polished hotel and restaurant story, with us becoming the new faces of their rooftop restaurant, Limón.
Unlike our more candid mini-moon shoot in the city, this project was more styled, elevated and brand-led. The creative direction centred around newlywed romance, luxury hotel getting ready moments and a rooftop dinner date. It was about capturing the feeling of arriving somewhere beautiful as newly married husbands: getting ready in the suite, dressing with intention, moving through the hotel, and stepping into a rooftop setting that felt celebratory, cinematic and full of atmosphere.
We created content both in the hotel suite and at Limón, allowing the story to move from private preparation to public celebration. The suite gave us quieter, more intimate moments — the kind of imagery that feels personal and editorial at the same time.
Limón brought a completely different mood. Set above the city, the rooftop restaurant created a sense of occasion without feeling forced. There was a natural romance in the setting: the height, the light, the architecture, the tables, the atmosphere of a dinner date unfolding above Vienna. It gave the shoot a clear lifestyle and hospitality focus, while still keeping the emotional connection between us at the centre.
For the styling, we wore outfits supplied by Teller Wedding Fashion Vienna. The looks gave the shoot a refined, wedding-adjacent feel that worked beautifully with the hotel setting.
The mood throughout the day was romantic, celebratory and elevated. It felt different from simply being photographed as a couple. This was about understanding how we could sit inside a brand world and help tell its story through real connection. We were not only modelling clothes or standing within a venue; we were helping communicate a feeling — the kind of feeling a hotel wants guests to imagine when they see themselves staying there, dining there or celebrating there.
That is what made this collaboration important for The Seths. It showed us how naturally our work could extend into hotel, venue and lifestyle collaborations. As a real couple, we bring chemistry that does not need to be manufactured. As a model duo, we can adapt that chemistry to suit a brief, whether the direction is documentary, editorial, romantic or commercial.
Grand Ferdinand Vienna gave us the opportunity to show that balance clearly. The shoot was rooted in a real moment from our lives — our mini-moon — but shaped into something with a clear creative and commercial purpose. It proved that our story can sit comfortably within a luxury brand setting without losing its warmth.
For us, this was more than a rooftop styled shoot. It was a glimpse of how The Seths can help hotels, venues and creative teams create imagery that feels aspirational, inclusive and emotionally believable.
And in a city as elegant as Vienna, that felt like exactly the right story to tell.
